  1. See Dealey Plaza where John F. Kennedy was assasinated in 1963 and walk on the grassy knoll
  2. The Sixth Floor Museum chronicles President Kennedy’s life, death, and legacy
  3. Fountain Place is a beautiful glass skyscraper with a tree-lined water garden – excellent photo area
  4. The Dallas Zoo is located 3 miles south of downtown, and has 1,800 animals
  5. The White Rock Lake Park offers fishing, boating, and bicycling
  6. The Dallas Arboretum is a botanic garden located on White Rock Lake and is considered one of the best gardens in the nation
  7. Hundreds of rare and endangered animals roam free on the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center preserves (1,500 acres)
  8. The Zero Gravity rides are a lot of fun
  9. Thanks-Giving Square is a park in downtown Dallas
  10. The Dallas World Aquarium boasts a 20,000 gallon aquarium/tunnel that you can walk through!
  11. The Museum of Biblical Art features art related to the Bible
  12. The Kessler has a wide selection of art, music, and film
  13. The Dallas Holocaust Museum endeavours to remind people of the memory of the Holocaust
